Kataryn Martin is a marine naturalist and Outdoor Educator. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation to care for our planet. Ms. Kat has worked with learners of all ages in scientific and nature-based settings as an instructor and guide. Kat is currently earning a degree in environmental conservation at Skagit Valley College, and commutes to Lopez Children’s Center daily from Mount Vernon.
When she’s not traveling the world to research whales, Ms. Kat also works part time as a deckhand at the Port of Friday Harbor.
