Ms. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington in Seattle. She has experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), supporting clients on Vashon Island and in Redmond, as well as teaching children’s jiu jitsu for many years. Catherine grew up in Snohomish, WA and moved to Lopez Island in 2021. Outside the classroom, she enjoys gardening and runs a dried flower wedding and bouquet business (since 2014). She likes to stay active with running, jiu jitsu, skiing, hiking and paddleboarding. She has a creative 12-year-old daughter, two sweet dogs and a cat, and fun fact: she also speaks a little bit of German.
