The farmers carefully steward it through growth and harvesting, then ship it to Madre Monte in the US where one of the leading roasters in Seattle ensures the perfect roast.
Their business model works because they are creative about where they incur costs in their supply chain. Yes, they pay the farmers more for their product to ensure the quality of the coffee, to continue to strengthen sustainable practices in Colombia.
But, once the coffee is roasted, they ship it directly to you, skipping many points in the traditional distribution process so they can stay competitive in the marketplace.

You can join us in this effort by receiving regular shipments of coffee straight to your home. Shipping is free when you select a regular subscription, die weekly, monthly, etc. For every bag of coffee ordered through the Madre Monte web site, LCC will receive $1.00. 2. On the next page, under “Sustainable Partners Program”, click the down arrow and select Lopez Children’s Center.

3. Complete the registration information

4. On the ORDER SUMMARY AND PAYMENT INFO screen, select the “Subscription Option”, i.e. the frequency you’d like your coffee shipped. Once this is selected, your shipping charge will be removed and your coffee, with FREE SHIPPING, will be on its way to your door.
